PRP Therapy for Shoulder, Knee, and Hip Pain in Phoenix

A non-surgical option that uses your own platelets to support your body's healing response.

What is PRP?

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is made from a small sample of your own blood. We concentrate the platelets, which carry

inject them into the painful area. Because it comes from you, the chance of an allergic reaction or rejection is low.

Knee pain

Knee osteoarthritis is where PRP has the most research behind it. In mild to moderate arthritis, studies suggest many patients get better pain relief and function from PRP than from hyaluronic acid or steroid injections. Results vary from person to person, and some trials show smaller benefits over the long term.

Shoulder pain

For painful rotator cuff tendons, research suggests PRP may offer meaningful relief for some patients, and in some studies fewer repeat injections than steroids. Soreness in the first weeks is common, and long-term evidence is still mixed.

Hip pain

Research on PRP for hip arthritis is earlier-stage. Some studies show improvements similar to hyaluronic acid injections. We'll give you an honest view of whether it's a reasonable option for your situation.

What to expect

Your visit includes a consultation, a blood draw, preparation of your PRP, and a guided injection. Mild soreness afterward is normal. We'll build a follow-up plan with you, which may include acupuncture and a strengthening program.

Is PRP right for you?

PRP isn't for everyone. We review your history, including blood thinners, blood disorders, infection, and other conditions, before recommending treatment. Results aren't guaranteed and vary by condition and person.
